About An Nam Junk Cruise

Annam Junk is a traditional sailing junk designed and built by Halong Travel. It is 26m long and there are 7 rooms, comprising 6 Deluxe rooms (2 doubles, 3 twin and 1 single) and 1 Suite room. It also has a restaurant and 2 sundecks. The junk was handmade from wood by 10 craftsmen over a period of 11 months and was finished on 20 July 2005.

Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi-Halong (L,D)
Our guide will pick you up at 9am at your hotel. Leave Hanoi by road for Halong Bay. Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong and board the traditional sailing junk at 12 noon. Whilst cruising the exquisite waters, sample the region’s fresh seafood. Visit the recently discovered Surprise Grotto with its great views, and on the next island see the yawning mouth of Bo Nau Cave. Enjoy a swim in the emerald waters of Halong Bay at any spot you choose. Watch the sun set over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious dinner. Overnight on Annam Junk.

Day 2: Halong-Hanoi ( B, L )
Wake up to fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before cruising back to Halong City. En route the junk weaves through strange-shaped rock formations that invite comparisons with everything from fighting cocks to dragons and even General de Gaulle’s nose! Continue to Baitulong Bay. Have lunch on board. Return to Halong City around 12 noon. End of our services.

Suite Class Including: Welcome drink, 3 main meals with seafood, 1 breakfast, fresh fruit, free tea and coffee, visitor ticket, insurance, 1 night in Suite room.
