The Dragon Pearl is this 32 meter long, 8-meter wide masterpiece
is constructed of the finest quality materials by the hands of
skilled craftsman. Designed after the Chinese sailing Junks of
old, there are three traditional sails; a 13-meter main sail, a
14-meter front sail, and a 7-meter cross sail. As you enter the
Dragon's Pearl you come to the reception counter on the first of
the two lower decks, which have a total of 18 twin/double fully
equipped cabins.
Description:
Scenic Halong Bay, with its
emerald seas, rests beautifully over the Red River Delta. This region, "the Bay
of the Descending Dragon", is dotted with more than 3,000 mountainous islands,
each with its own unique landscape. The islands are
famous for their dolomite
and limestone rock formations, many of which have been given names. Natural
grottos, fjords, land tunnels and inlets are also common. During the Vietnam War, numerous large ships sailed through the open waters of the bay and now an
excursion by junk, cruises or fishing boat gives you the memorable experience of
sailing past silent, sea-girt caves and around the spectacular formations,
tasting fresh and authentic Vietnamese cuisines, breathing cool breezing from
the Gulf of Tonkin and enjoying a romantic night with your sweet hearts under

Day 1: Hanoi -
Halong Bay
Leave Hanoi for Halong Bay. Drive (3.5 hrs) thru the Red River
Delta with its verdant farmland dotted with local villages.
Arrive at 12:00pm. Transfer to the Dragon's Pearl Junk, enjoy a
welcome drink and lunch with fresh seafood as you embark on a 4
hours cruise into the bay to see the incredible Karst formations
such as Lion, Tea Pot, and Toad... Cruise further past the Tam
Cung cave’s gate, Dau Nguoi (Human Head) islet, and then visit
the Sung Sot (Amazing) cave.
There will be lots of time for swimming and sun bathing. Cruise
to a quiet firth and enjoy a great sunset dinner, relax under
the starlit sky before retiring to the comfort of your cabin.
Day 2: Explore Halong
Option1: Halong & Trekking in Cat Ba National
Park - 3 hoursAfter breakfast, take transfer boat and cruise to Cat Ba National
Park. Trekking in a undiscorved of Viet Hai Village on snake trail with rockys
rising from ground beside, you will have chance to discover the self-supplied
life of local residents. Climb up the peak of a mountain, you will see panorama
of Halong bay and Viet Hai Valley in the heart of Cat Ba Park, lunch in village
on the way. Trekking back to transfer boat and cruise back to Dragon’s Pearl
Junk for sunset Dinner & overnight.
Option 2: Adventure - Sea Kayaking Discovery
After breakfast, transfer to the Kayaking area where you will be given a basic
paddling lesson by our expert on how to paddle safely at your comfort. After
that, you and your guide will explore the mystical bay. There will be alot of
swimming, visiting beach or a lagoon cave (depending on tidal conditions). BBQ
lunch on beach or small boat. And then cruise to explore Dark & Bright cave
before getting back to Dragon’s Pearl Junk for dinner & overnight
Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi
Early risers will enjoy a refreshing swim in a quiet firth. Brunch buffet will
be served from 7:30am – 9:30am. You’ll continue cruising through the bay, along
the way seeing more of the fascinating formations like Trong (Drum) cave, Yen
Ngua (Saddle) islet, Ham Rong (Dragon’s mouth) islet, Am (Tea Pot) islet, Mat
Qui (Monster’s face) islet, former “Indochina” movie’s studio.
Check out procedure (10.30am-11.30am). Arrive at the harbor by 12pm, transfer to
the pier and board the private coach back to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi around
4:00pm. End of the services.
