Halong Bay, ‘ the bay
where the dragon descends into the sea’, is a spectacular
seascape in the Gulf of Tonkin. More than 2,000 islands, islets
and limestone formations rise from the emerald waters,
remarkably shaped by wind and waves.
The best way to discover the natural beauty of the bay is
onboard our newly built Halong Emotion, designed to give you the
best service you could possibly wish for. Watch the scenery go
by with a nice glass of wine and do as much or as little as you
feel like on your holiday.
Halong Emotion combines charm and great comfort to meet the
growing demand of travellers looking for luxurious cruises in
the bay. Our first boat, launched in July 2009 , features 28 air
conditioned cabins, with private bathrooms and facilities
similar to a boutique style hotel.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi –
Halong Emotion Cruises
We depart from the capital at 8 :30 am for
Ha Long Bay approximately three hours away. En route we have a short
stop at the Sao Dao center run for and by handicapped children for short
break. Upon arrival at Ha Long Bay we will be met by captain and
cruise and transferred to Halong Emotion Cruise .Welcome on board of
Halong Emotion and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the
magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the
waves like dragons’ teeth. Opportunity to visit beautiful limestone
grotto, go swimming or sunbathing. Enjoy cocktails while
watching sunset and later unwind at Halong Emotion restaurant. If weather
permits, a short night cruise could bring you a nice discovery of the
sea life by night.
09.30-13.00: Pick up by private car at your
hotel about 8.30. Spend 3 hours sight seeing country Vietnam on the way
to Halong city. 11.30 -12.00: Arrival in HaLong Tourist Wharf. Transfer
to Halong Emotion by tender
12.00 - 12.30: Welcome cocktail on board. Check into your private cabin,
while we start cruising towards Bai Tu Long Bay
13.15 -14.30: Vietnamese lunch served on board, against the stunning
backdrop of limestone formations and islands such as: Coc island, Cap De
island, Bo Cau island, Vong Vieng fishing village.
16.00:Arrive in Vong Vieng fishing village, discover the life of local
people by a sampan . You are free to join one of our onboard activities:
- Kayaking
- Visiting the village by sampan
- Diving to discover Bai Tu Long bay
- Swimming in Cong Troi beach (transferred by tender, included)
- Massage
- Kite flying, relaxing on sundeck
18.00: Stop in Trong cave area /Ho Dong Tien cave area for overnight.
19.00: Have dinner with fresh seafood provided by fishing villagers in
the bay.
20.00-24.00:Freely enjoying the beauty of Halong at night, join with one
of optional activities : Realease the windlamp, fight up the fireworks,
enjoy traditional music (on special occasions) or barbecue (up on
passenger’s request)
Day 2 : Cruising in Halong bay and back to Hanoi
6-6.30: At leisure or practice Tai Chi with our instructor during the
sunrise.
6.30-8.00: Start your day with an International Buffet Breakfast or set
menu.
8.00-8.45: Explore the Cave of Surprise (Sung Sot Cave) one of the most
beautiful cave in Halong Bay.
9:00 – 9:25: Swimming/relax
9 :30: Turn back to the Tourist Wharf - continue cruise slowly through
Halong Bay
10:00: Check-out, clear bills
10.45: Depart to Halong Tourist Wharf, transferred to the restaurant
11.30: Have lunch in a restaurant in Halong city.
12.30: Departure to Hanoi
