The Binh Chau Hot Springs are located 70km west of Vung Tau. The water temperature reaches up to 80oC, good enough to boil an egg in 10 minutes. Covering an area of 1 sq. Km, Binh Chau consists of many lakes and ponds joined by an underground pool of mineral water. The hot water is used for its medicinal values; 73oC water is led to pools for treatment of skin disease and rheumatism. They belong to a protected area that also features numerous forests, coasts and lakes.
